Up for sale is a 2003 Volvo S80. Car has a 2.9 liter 6 cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. I have had this car for one year and it has been my daily driver since then. Car has a clear blue title in my name. Car does run and drive but engine needs to warm up for 30 minutes before driving. The transmission will not shift out of first gear until it is warmed up for the 30 minutes. After that it runs and shifts fine. I am not sure what the problem is but I did take the car to a transmission shop at there was no code that came up for transmission. I heard that it may be a solenoid or the dealer can do a software update but not sure if that will fix the problem. I’ve been driving to for the last 6 months like this. Even have taken car out of town. Car has new timing belt and pulleys, new water pump, new rear struts, new motor mount, new fuel pump, and new spark plugs. Power everything and the A/C and heater do work. Front windows do roll down but are hard to get back up so I leave them up. Rear ones work but tint is peeling off from bottom of windows. Sunroof works. Body and interior are in very good condition for age. No leaks and oil was changed regularly. Oil change is due now. It has an exhaust leak. Sold AS-IS.
