This 1998 Black Beauty is the last year of the Luxury Sport Coupe made by Lincoln. This Mark VIII is optioned with the LSC trim package which has perforated leather seats, monochromatic styling, sport suspension with air ride and a true dual flow exhaust from the factory that puts out 290 Horsepower. I am selling this car without a warranty but I can guarantee you that it is a pleasure to drive with the amount of power available and plush ride due to the computer managed air suspension. The suspension air bags on this car are fully functional along with everything else. The blend door actuator was recently replaced and the heat along with air conditioning works great. The power seats and power tilt steering wheel work with no problems. The radio was upgraded to a touch screen Pioneer CD radio, model#KW-V1208T which sounds excellent. I am the 3rd owner of this car. The original owner had the car until 2016 and had it serviced at the Ford Dealer according to Car Fax records. The car has a clean title with no accident history. The engine and transmission purrs nicely and was treated to Synthetic oil changes by the 2nd owner. The last oil change was performed in January. The rear brake pads were replaced by the 2nd owner and the car has excellent braking power. The exterior paint shines beautifully but has some light scratches and chips that were touched up if you look closely. The car was believed to be re-painted by the original owner in a "Tuxedo Black" color which has a beautiful sparkle. The re-paint is of high quality standard and feels smooth as silk after a recent detailing. Some of the attached pictures show reflections of clouds in the sky or nearby objects; there are no major blemishes in the paint. I should also mention that the body does not have any rust. The interior is in excellent condition with the exception of the steering wheel which has some chips in the top part of the leather. The original owner had a steering wheel cover on the steering wheel for a very long time that actually caused damage when it was removed. The leather seats are very comfortable with no rips, tears or cracking. The dashboard is in excellent condition with no cracks. It seems that no one has sat in the back seat, as they look nearly new. This is your chance to own a rare low mileage and highly desirable black on black Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. The 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII was regarded as the best Mark VIII after refining it over the course of 6 years. Included in the sale is 2 keys with 3 alarm fobs, original owners manuals and the original 14 page Sales Brochure that would have been given to the new owner from the dealer. I believe the Auto Check information is not legitimate. As the story goes, the 2nd owner bought the car from the original owner who was too old & in poor health to drive anymore. The 2nd owner informed me that he actually purchased the car from original owners wife who had to get the battery replaced (date coded 2/2016) because the car was not being driven anymore. I also forgot to mention that this car comes with a remote auto start key fob so that you can start the car from nearby or inside your home. Some other interesting facts about this 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII is that it was purchased with the optional and very desirable Chromed Octastar wheels. Only 1,350 LSC's were ordered with these Octastar wheels while 7,402 LSC's came with standard directional wheels in 1998.
