Vehicle Detail

Huge Price Reduction - losing storage and need to find this amazing car a new home. Up for sale is a very rare and collectable 2000 Grand Prix GTP Retired NASCAR Pace Car, this car will only increase in value and would make a great addition to your collection. This is the GTP edition which comes LOADED with the exception of the following do to NASCAR deleting them:No power sunroof (omitted from official Pace cars starting in 1999 do to safety concernsNo disc changer (space needed for mounting Wheelen strobe light converters)Extras on the GTPHeads up Display (HUD) displays milage and other information on the windshield) Dual Climate ControlDrivers Heated seat (passenger omitted for strobe light switch)Wheelen Strobe light package with extra bulbs (said to cost $10K - it's really cool)Custom Chrome American Racing rims, tires have lots of tread remainingCustom decals just for this car for Talladega Winton 500 series Everything is original to the best of my knowledge with the exception of the wheels and tires and oil and filter changes Flaws (not every car is perfect): Passenger side door speaker rattles with the base is up (blown) Less than a dime sized wear mark on the drivers side seat (common in these cars) but would be easy fix. One set of original key w/remote (other lost) but will provide replacement remote and key blank (you will need to have programmed and key cut).Minor chips and or scratches (difficult to find)Note: I choose not to fix these to keep the car as original as possible (rims and tires replaced by previous owner) Some cool facts about this car, was at the 2000 Tallagega Race way (in the actual starting laps see video link below) where the late Dale Earnhardt Sr won his final race prior to his tragic death. YouTube link of race with this car in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlRcK8TsFnY&list=PLEFF9148B451D6F78&index=2 The Winston 500 was held October 15 at Talladega Superspeedway. Joe Nemechek won the pole. Bill Elliott led the most laps.Top ten results3–Dale Earnhardt55–Kenny Wallace33–Joe Nemechek24–Jeff Gordon5–Terry Labonte31–Mike Skinner6–Mark Martin2–Rusty Wallace27–Mike Bliss17–Matt KensethFailed to qualify: Wally Dallenbach, Jr. (No. 75), Blaise Alexander (No. 91), Hut Stricklin (No. 90)This was Earnhardt's 76th and final career victory before his death in February 2001 at Daytona, as well as the final time the #3 car was in victory lane in the Cup Series until the 2017 Coca-Cola 600. This race is remembered for Earnhardt storming to the front in the final 5 laps to take the win picking up 17 spots. This was also Earnhardt's first and only Winston No Bull 5 Million win. Buy now price has been greatly reduced if you pay the buy not price I will provide memorabilia at no cost include 2 extra strobe lights and the burnt one that was replaced on the rear spoiler panel.
