Vehicle Detail
I picked up this car with hopes of completing the restoration myself, but unfortunately I have more projects than I have time or $$ to complete. Looking for someone to get it across the finish line and back on the road where it belongs. The body was stripped to bare metal and painted about 6 yrs ago. All panels are factory straight w/ no body damage or rust. Underside has been stripped and undercoated with all new suspension. Motor, trans & rearend were also rebuilt by previous owner with just a few miles... starts right up and idles very smooth. All thats left to be done is the interior & brakes, and to install the glass & trim (which I have). The paint will need to be cut and rubbed due to sitting outside in the sun (as you can see in some of the pics) and there are two small dents on the driver side fender that happened after it was painted (shown in pics). There are few critical parts that will be needed to complete. Hood, center console, front wing & rear 1/4 windows & the dash frame, everything else is there. Currently on non-op w/ no backfees and holds a clean title. On Apr-04-18 at 20:01:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a few updates in response to some questions I've received since posting. VIN# XP29E61187705 Yes, I do have the trim pieces, bumpers, tail light lens and interior seats and panels. I do have the center console, but it is not in what I would consider "usable condition". It has some cracks and would need to be repaired... I'm sure someone with experience may be able to salvage it, but personally I would replace it. That's why I mentioned that it will be needed. It will also need a new fuel tank. Transmission is an automatic. I have purchased vehicles in the past through eBay and other online sites myself, so I know how difficult and frustrating it can be. So my goal is to be as up front and honest as I possibly can. I believe that this is about as thorough a description I give in regard to this vehicle. Please feel free to message me with any other questions or concerns... Good luck with your bidding!
