Vehicle Detail
If you are a CT'er like me, or have always wanted one of these in pristine condition, here is your chance to own an unbelievable true low-mileage CT90. This is a 1978 Honda CT90 that was a legitimate barn find from Pine, AZ where it sat unused for many years. It was originally purchased at Honda House in Glendale, AZ. (sticker is still on the fender). It was recently brought down to the Phoenix area where it is currently. IT HAS ONLY 144 MILES ON IT! Evidence of the authenticity of mileage: Came with the original Yokohama factory tires and tubes on it with barely used tread, but had cracks on the sides (have all been replaced- the tubes still held air though) Inside of wheels and brakes were in new condition No wear on the kickstand rubber at all. No wear, rust or pitting in the exhaust pipe. Heat resistant exhaust shield is pristine Underside of the engine guard is barely scratched Still has part of the warranty sticker on the handlebars (I'll leave it on). Yellow body paint is immaculate. Stickers on the body are like new Air filter looked brand new (it has since been replaced because after 40 years, that foam just falls apart). The bike runs excellent and like new, because it basically is. Of course it has had some things done to it to get it to it's present running condition: New tires, heavy duty tubes and rim straps Gas tank was cleaned and lined New gas lines and filters installed New carburetor (The original Keihin is included) New battery New spark plug New air filter New flasher relay New fork boots, fork seals and fork oil (one of the boots had a couple small holes so since they were off, the seals and oil were changed) New seat cover New downtube frame cover with correct decals (the original was broken and missing pieces- new one is a better, UV resistant plastic) New headlight New light bulbs for the entire bike, including all in the speedometer New key that fits all three locks- ignition, steering, and auxiliary gas tank holder/helmet lock. Everything works as it should. Starts first kick. The bike rides like new. It shifts smoothly through all the gears. The dual-range transmission works flawlessly. The bike has been checked out thoroughly including checking the points and valve clearance, which were pristine and no adjustment needed to be made. The chrome is really nice, Arizona bike-no rust. No rust whatsoever on the wheels or small areas of the spokes. Includes the auxiliary "canteen" gas tank and also the original HM tool kit tucked away in it's proper place behind the battery cover. 144 miles! That's all. You will have a hard time finding a Trail 90 with the low miles it has as it is probably only one of a handful on the planet that has been used this sparingly. It has a few scuffs on the front fender, a small chip on the top part of the headlight bucket, and a little paint fade on the left upper gas tank but that's about it. No holes or pitting in the exhaust, no battery acid paint problems under the battery and on the frame, no rusted out engine guard or luggage rack. The air filter plastic has the original "Trail 90" sticker and the attaching tabs are there. Everything is in great shape. With the exception of the paint and decals on the new downtube cover, all the paint, decals and stickers are original everywhere on the bike from my knowledge. The bike comes with a notarized Arizona title. It is located in Gilbert, AZ a suburb of Phoenix where it can be picked up or I will work with the shipping company of your choice if you need to have it shipped. The reserve price is set very fair for the condition and mileage the bike is in. This is a rare opportunity to get a Trail 90 this nice. Bid confidently as this is a one of a kind find. I'm sure I've left out something but if you have any questions, please message me and I'll get right back with you. Happy bidding!
