MUST READ : ASSUME THAT THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED ! 2003 F350 4 wheel drive dually with an 8 foot Curtis minute mount snow plow. I just finished spending a lot of money having the truck serviced, only to get the truck back, with the 6.0 powerstroke diesel now running on only 7 cylinders. The mechanic could not tell me the cause, and I'm unwilling to spend any more time / money on it. I drove the truck 10 miles home from the mechanics shop, but barely made it because of the lack of power. I would highly recommend that whoever buys this truck should NOT try driving it. It does start easily, and will definitely drive itself onto a trailer for transport. I do not know what is wrong with the engine, so please don't ask me to diagnose it for. You should just assume that the engine needs to be replaced. I've owned the truck for approx. 7 years, and it's been a great, trouble free truck. I paid nearly 20k for it, and based on ads for similar year, model trucks, in good running condition it would still be worth $12k - $15k. This is the top of the line XLT "Lariat" pkg. with all power options including power heated leather Captains seats, and heated towing mirrors w/factory LED's. Also LED taillights, and smoked LED roof clearance lights. Has 2 matching heavy duty batteries which are only months old. Interior is still in excellent condition. This does have the typical Ford rust, but in my opinion is in better condition than others I have seen of the same vintage. I would say that all of the bed cross rails should be replaced, and possibly one of the cab mounts. Truck has approx. 167k miles on it. Comes with an 8 foot Curtis minute mount snowplow in great condition, and a high end Whelen light bar with full strobes, wig wags, work lights, and alley lights. Also has a very heavy duty Reese tow hitch with electric brake box, all set up to tow. The 6.0 diesel was previously running great. It still starts very easily, even in negative temps., using the included remote start. All 6 tires are in good condition. The fronts were replaced a year or so ago. I was getting ready to sell the truck, as I just didn't use it enough, and it was bigger than I needed. I just don't want to mess with fixing it, and it should be a great deal for someone who does. There are plenty of inexpensive powerstroke engines for sale right here on Ebay. Winning bidder is responsible for arranging their own shipping. The truck will drive itself onto a transport vehicle. Non-refundable Paypal deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of the auction's end, and remaining balance is due within 1 week either by cash in person, or Bank check. Vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty implied or given. The buyer understands that this truck will need a new engine.
