hey guys, sad day for me. Ive decided i need to sell my 2003 Baja. Quick back story, I bought it a few months ago from an elderly woman in a neighboring town with the idea that i would sell another vehicle i had a loan on & use the Baja as my daily driver. Ive put quite a bit of work into it, but have been unable to sell my first car so ive decided to just sell the baja. Ill list everything i know about it as well as the work ive had done.2003 BLACK/SILVER AUTOMATIC BAJA. Clean clear title in my name The car is registered and ins and in my name 178715 miles 2 tone leather interior body is in good shape typical tears in drivers seat has a perfect condition rear lockable tonneau cover Factory rear bed extender previous owner replaced the harmonic balancerI will now list the work I have done to the car since i bought it. All items have less than 100 miles on them;ROLA 59504 ROOF TOP BASKET $142.99(2) Front Inner Tie Rods, (2) Front Lower Ball Joints, (1) Front Lower Control Arms, (2) Front Outer Tie Rods, (2) Front Sway Bar Links $99.95(I have upgraded the suspension to the 06 Baja suspension)2 Brand New 2006 front struts $70.00 2 Brand new 2006 Monroe rear struts $133.57 2 Brand new 2006 Subaru front springs $95.00 2 brand new 2006 RALLITEK 0" rear overload springs $198.99 new fuel filter $9.99 DURALAST BATTERY $133.19The following parts i still have brand new ready to be installed;SERPENTINE BELT $18.49 NGK WIRE SET $35.99 STP AIR FILTER $17.99 4 NGK PLUGS $9.96the car runs good, Ive driven it several 1 hour trips, no issues. everything appears to work as it should. Please keep in mind that this is a 2003 car. I dont know much more about it other than what ive told. Please feel free to ask questions.This is a list of what i think needs attention;1. needs an alignment since i have had a quite a bit of suspension work done. 2. The hazards dont work, possible fuse 3. There is a check engine light on, had a local auto zone run it and i dont specifically remember what it was other than i remember they said it was a minor issue. 4. I believe the PS steering pump is going as it is difficult to turn when stationary 5. the previous owner couldnt remember if they changed the timing belt recently, so i would recommend having the timing belt/water pump changed as precaution based on mileage. Please keep in mind the year and mileage. There is typical new england rust underneath, but nothing terrible in my opinion. if you are local, feel free to come by and look before you bid. i will answer any questions i can. the car is being sold AS-IS, there is a $500 non refundable deposit due at end of auction.I will work with the winner on picking the car up if you are from out of town. I dont mind keeping the car in my driveway for a bit while the winner works on transportation as long as its paid in full.clear title in my name.On Mar-26-18 at 16:39:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to clarify, because i dont know much about the car other than what the previous owner told me, I wouldnt suggest driving the car very far. it runs good, but should definately have an alignment done due to the suspension work thats been done. Also as a precaution, i would suggest replacing the timing belt and water pump to preserve the motor. Theres nothing that makes me think it is going to break, but due to the mileage, I would suggest it in my opinion, but up to the winner. Also I believe i have 3 sets of keys; 3 fobs, 3 rear cover keys, and 3 ignition keys. theres also 3 plug wires coming up from under the dash. The previous owner said it was from an old satelite radio, i just left them. I believe he also did some brake work as well.
