1957 Chevrolet COE Truck 5700 Series This truck was retired in 2003. It served as water truck at a motorsport facility and was mounted with a 1000 gallon tank. Tank runners are still mounted on the bed. It is still located at the facility. It was occasionally employed to haul hay until 2007. Other equipment took its place and it has not been started since 2007. There were no issues with motor, transmission, or rear end. It was routine to add brake fluid every 3-4 days in heavy use. The truck appears to be all original less motor. I was told that the motor is a 327 when purchased from previous owner in September of 2000. The photos do reflect body damage in various areas but overall the truck is very solid. This would be an awesome truck to restore or customize.
