Vehicle Detail

I have for auction a decent and very solid 1977 T-Top Corvette. This car, of course is a head turner, and not the average Vette. It currently has a pumped up 350 V-8 with a cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, roller tip rockers, Holly 4bbl carburetor and stainless steel hooker headers with side pipes. The transmission is a TH350 with a shift kit. The car sounds awesome, it shifts great, stops fine and the rear end will kick out to the side and chirp 2nd gear up the road (because of the shift kit). So basically she is quick! If you are looking for a great Vette that you can have some summer fun with, this is the car for you! It’s not a numbers matching Corvette but is a great beginner collector car that needs just some work here and there to be mint, in my opinion……. THE STORY The gentlemen I got it from had it sense 2003. He has a folder of receipts that go with the car, to tell the story. The exhaust alone was over a thousand dollars. I was told when he bought it, the previous owner had installed the 1970’s (not sure exact year, I didn’t run the casting numbers) 350 V-8 engine, 4 bolt main and all the goodies I recently described. He bought and put in a brand new TH350 crate transmission with the shift kit. As like a lot of classic cars she was parked under a car port, started and driven here and there but not being used like a Corvette should, so reluctantly he decided to part ways with it. QUICK VIDEO https://youtu.be/ztMcCYa59-w THINGS I FOUND, OR STILL NEED TO BE FIXED I will do the best I can to describe or tell some of the things it still needs. Keep in mind, like we all know it is from 1977. -It has the L-82 badges but it is an L Code Corvette not X Code. (Look at the Vin Number) -The overall underneath is solid, pans look good, frame looks good, ect… radiator mount underneath is rusted. (This must be common, because my last Vette did the same thing). -Front windshield needs replaced, (It’s old and delaminating around the edges) -I was told the AC was installed and charged but will not turn on. (Not sure the problem on that one) -The tires are dry rotted from sitting in the car port for so long. -Drivers side window isn’t rolling up. (I may have this fixed I just haven’t messed with it as of yet) -The Interior is in really good shape, and is the original dark brown color (Trim Code 692). The battery and jack compartment covers are missing carpet. -I give the paint job about a C. It is fading in the front and in the back, where the plastic parts are. It was originally white (Trim Code 10). Over all it’s a sound car, and is a great first Corvette! If you have questions I will answer them to the best of my knowledge.
