The vehicle currently has 83,742 miles, 14,162 engine hours, 10,389 idle hours and was removed from service in February 2018 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front & rear tires have approximately 40-50% tread remaining. The vehicle has recently had an issue surface with the engine RPMs fluctuating & the vehicle having a shudder present, both occurring intermittently with and with some regularity. Due to the vehicle due for replacement, we did not fully diagnose the issue with the vehicle. The airbag light is also illuminated, with no diagnosis as to the cause. NOTE: The buyer will need to have these issues diagnosed & repaired at their own expense. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has some minor, light scratches present. The driver door has minor light scratches & door dings present. Also, the driver door b-pillar trim is cracked. The driver side rear door has minor light scratches present. The roof has four (4) plugged & sealed holes, along with three (3) small screw holes on edge side edge present, from where the light bar & emergency radio antennas were previously mounted. In addition, there are some spots where discoloration/surface rust are present from where the light bar was mounted. The trunk has two (2) plugged & sealed holes from where additional emergency radio antennas were mounted, along with some scratches present. The rear bumper has multiple scratches/dings present. The right rear quarter panel has some scratches present. The passenger side rear door has light scratches & door dings present. The passenger side front door has light scratches & door dings present. The interior is in fair condition. There is a small screw hole present in the lower center dash to the left of the power outlets from where police equipment was previously mounted. Both side b-pillar trim panels have four (4) circular cutouts from where the prisoner cage was previously mounted/secured to the vehicle. The driver rear seatback fabric cover has multiple indentations & one spot worn through to the padding from where it rubbed against the prisoner cage. There are no rear upper grab handles present. Both rear door window trim panels have eight (8) small screw holes present from where prisoner window bars were mounted to the doors. The passenger side rear door panel is cracked & damaged. The rear headliner is a little loose near the upper third brake light. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Jan 2018, at 83,848 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Feb 2018, at 83,188 miles, the passenger side headlight bulb was replaced. In Jan 2018, at 82,857 miles, the driver side headlight bulb & both wiper blades were replaced. In Nov 2017, at 82,416 miles, the catalytic converters, gaskets, oxygen sensors, & one manifold stud were replaced. In Nov 2017, at 82,143 miles, all the spark plugs were replaced. In Sept 2017, at 80,984 miles, the battery was replaced. In early Sept 2017, at 80,344 miles, the front brake pads, front brake rotors, rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, front stabilizer links, right lower control arm, & driver side exterior door handle were replaced. Also, the vehicle had an alignment performed. In Jun 2017, at 77,148 miles, both the trunk support rods were replaced. In May 2017, at 76,147 miles, the tires were rotated, the right front turn signal assembly was replaced, & the vehicle had recall # 16S31 completed at the local Ford dealership. In Mar 2017, at 73,705 miles, the passenger side wiper blade & left rear turn signal bulb were replaced. In mid-Mar 2017, at 73,660 miles, the passenger side headlight bulb was replaced. In Jan 2017, at 71,970 miles, one tire was repaired & all the tires were rotated. Also in Jan 2017, at 71,953 miles, the left side headlight bulb was replaced. In early 2017, at 71,292 miles, the driver side lower front rocker trim molding was replaced. In Nov 2016, at 69,682 miles, the police dome lamp assembly, front inner tie rod end, front outer tire rod end, & the left rear tie rod assembly were replaced. Also, the vehicle had an alignment performed. In Sept 2016, ay 66,372 miles, the vehicle had minor accident damage at the left rear corner of the vehicle repaired at a local auto body repair facility & the vehicle was returned to service as a front-line emergency vehicle. In Aug 2016, at 66,279 miles, the left front brake hose & left front turn signal assembly were replaced. In May 2016, at 62,768 miles, the purge valve was replaced. In Apr 2016, at 61,945 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Mar 2016, at 61,189 miles, the wiper switch, driver seat belt buckle, & one oxygen sensor were replaced. In Jan 2015, at 40,522 miles, the right headlight bulb was replaced. In Dec 2014, at 38,566 miles, the driver side headlight bulb was replaced. In Sep 2014, at 34,046 miles, the vehicle had the left front turn signal assembly replaced & recalls #14S08, 14S10, and 14B05 completed at the local Ford dealership. In early Sept 2014, at 33,334 miles, the front brake pads & front brake rotors were replaced. In July 2014, at 29,164 miles, the passenger side rear tire was repaired & the spot light bulb was replaced. In May 2014, at 26,859 miles, the purge valve & fuel filler neck were replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealership. In early May 2014, at 26,168 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Mar 2014, at 23,424 miles, the right-side headlight bulb was replaced. In Jan 2014, at 20,517 miles, the left front tire was repaired. In Sept 2013, at 13,723 miles, the fuel pump module was replaced in accordance with recall # 13S04 at the local Ford dealership. In mid-Sept 2013, at 13,340 miles, the driver door lock cylinder was repaired. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
