Vehicle Detail

Hi all - I am selling my grandmothers car as is, have title in hand, it is still covered by insurance, has set in yard not driven for a couple of years. If interested I'll tell you it's life story if that helps give insight into condition. My grandmother bought the car it in early 2000's (I'll guess 2005 or so) from a single owner in Atlanta. The car was originally purchased from Ed Voyles Acura in Atlanta and original owner was reportedly an older lady who mainly drove it back and forth to work until she retired and her son sold car to my grandmother. Before purchasing the car it was given a clean bill of health by a mechanic and never gave my grandmother a bit of trouble. My grandmother mainly drove it back and forth to town periodically for things like church and groceries after that but not a heavy driver. I inherited the car in March 2008 when she died. It has alternated between a lot of sitting in the driveway and has been driven occasionally by me when I first got it but I eventually opted for a roomier car. A few years ago I paid a local garage to get it really fixed up, bought new tires, whole 9 yards, It ran great but I had another car, so it ended up sitting in the yard until battery died and I kept putting off getting it going again. My grandmother loved the car and begged me to take good care of it so I made attempts but it has spent more time sitting in the yard than being driven. I have been planning for the last year or so to get it towed back into a garage to get it worked on and drivable again but finally reality set in that it's probably a good bit of money for me to invest for just sentimental value in a car I don't need so letting it go. Personally I would really like for it to go to someone interested in restoring it as a collectors item vs. using it for parts but will let it go regardless. I did a little reading up on it as a somewhat rare 5 cylinder model and several people commented favorably on it while I was driving it so I'm assuming it might have a little more value than going to the junkyard but much of an automotive expert. Selling car AS IS, no guarantees as I have no idea how much work it would take to restore if that is an interest. It was in good shape when it was parked but that may not say anything for how it is now as it has set out in the elements. Minor damage inside as a plastic thing in the drivers side door that controlled the handle snapped when I tried to open it while car iced over meaning I had to roll down the window to open the door. Was told it was a fairly simple fix but that was not long before the car was consigned to the driveway. Any other questions feel free to ask.On Mar-18-18 at 16:20:41 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I uploaded some new pictures to try to give a better idea of car condition, the interior I would take and clean if car was running, looks like it should clean up well. Has original floormats, instruction book, etc. The center console lid is missing but I know I have it somewhere, will try to find it in time for pickup but if not would mail it free when found if restoration is the goal. The picture of the drivers side door is where I said that a piece of plastic broke inside when I was trying to open it when car iced over - I don't recall exact quote when I called and asked about restoring that section but I recall it seemed pretty reasonable. Up close of paint shows where elements have started getting to it and I took a picture of the motor though no idea if you can tell anything by looking at it. Any other pictures desired let me know. For those who have asked, and anyone who might be wondering. I have absolutely no idea what it would take to get it running again and no way short of calling out a mechanic I don't know to come look at it. Not automotively inclined, neither is anyone in my family. Though I would suggest if you're looking for a vehicle that you can just pop a battery in and have a cheap ride this probably isn't it.
