Up for sale is my 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 R10. Factory 305 TBI and turbo 350 automatic transmission. 103,xxx miles on the chassis and drive train. Mostly original throughout, recent tune up earlier this year. The truck runs and drives really nicely down the highway with a smooth ride even being lowered. I bought this thing a few months ago with the intention to make a nice daily driver. However, I have come to the point where its in my way and must go. The Exterior: The paint is not original and is showing its age, as it shines well but is starting to peel and chip in places all around the truck. I would rate the paint a 4 out 10 but looks nice driving down the road. The body is in decent shape with a few dents and a small amount of rust in the usual places. The doors have surface rust on the bottom but it does not have holes all the way through yet. The cab corners have a small amount of rust as does the bottom of the bed sides. The floor pans and inside the bed are in great shape. The Interior: The interior is in good shape for its age. The carpet is clean and original but is faded a bit. The dash pad has been replaced at some point prior to my ownership and I just replaced the seat cover this week. Engine and Transmission: Stock 305 TBI engine with a turbo 350 automatic. Fresh transmission fluid change with filter and pan gasket. New belts, New air filter, New battery, New distributor, spark plugs and plug wires. Stock 10 bolt rear end with 3.08 gear. Has working duel fuel tanks as well. The truck is in over all pretty good shape for its age. The past few weeks I have been driving it everyday with no issues. However it isnt perfect and could use alittle TLC. The driver side window rolls down slowly and needs the motor replaced. I have a new motor but I wanted to put new seals in it at the same time but I have yet to do so. The oil pressure gauge works sometimes and the air conditioning needs to be converted and gassed up.
