This vehicle was purchased after sustaining fresh water damage. We have gotten this GTI to run and drive but are not completely finishing this vehicle. The airbag light and EPC warning lights are illuminated. We did replace the airbag module with a new part but cannot program it with the diagnostic tools we have available to us. We have flushed the vehicles oil and transmission fluids. The rear windows do not operate. The radio and climate controls work properly along with the power seats and door locks. All headlights, tail lights, brake lights and blinkers work properly. The engine does seem to have a throttle flutter at low RPM's, I am suspecting the gas pedal or throttle body. It runs and drives and shifts through all the gears. The carpet is dry, there is no moisture inside the vehicle. Please call our office with any questions at 248-446-8289 or 586-854-8781 after hours. Disclosure Agreement Every vehicle we sell is subject to a $135 buyers fee. Michigan residents must pay 6% sales tax and a $15 title fee. License plate fees will vary. We accept cashiers checks, bank wire transfers, cash. WE SELL REPAIRABLES AS IS, WHERE IS. These vehicles have been damaged by collision, fire, theft, flood, or paid off by an insurance company due to a total loss. All buyers are advised to personally inspect our vehicles prior to bidding. Once you are the successful bidder, the sale is considered final, for better or worse. The term LOT DRIVES means we have driven this vehicle in our parking lot only, at speeds below 10 miles per hour. We will not drive these damaged vehicles on the road, we have not checked all of the fluid levels, and cannot predict how they will drive down the road. All repairable vehicles are sold AS IS, WHERE IS with all faults If, upon personal inspection, you are not satisfied with the advertised item, we require you to cover a $200 fee that covers our internal expenses related to re-listing the vehicle and additional eBay fees. If you find a major repair missing from the vehicles description that would cost $1000+ to repair we will gladly waive this fee. Basically if we miss something BIG there is no obligation to purchase. Most of the vehicles that we buy have the title marked not actual mileage by the auction yard. The insurance companies typically mark all salvage titles not actual mileage. In some instances we can get the titles corrected to read actual mileage. In other instances it is out of our hands and the mileage on the vehicle will be correct but the title will read not actual mileage. Please talk to Pat or Chris to confirm what the title is going to read before purchasing. We are certain the miles stated on the vehicle are correct unless otherwise noted. We can verify the miles for you with an Auto Check report. Drivability Details The vehicle has been test driven and found to be in decent operating condition. Maintenance MAY be required on the wheel alignment, tires, brakes and rotors. There were no issues found with the condition and performance of the engine or transmission.
