I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. This is a pretty nice 1963 Turbocharged Corvair Monza Spyder convertible. The car was just serviced and tuned. The ignition has been changed to "Pertronics" to eliminate those troublesome points and condenser. New tires were installed about 1000 miles ago. The engine runs great and starts right up hot or cold. The 4 speed transmission shifts fine with no noises. The car drives very nice with no wandering or pulling. The brakes stop fine. The paint is a good 6 footer and would be fine for a daily driver. The interior is all original making me think the mileage showing on the odometer is correct at 51,572. The seats and door panels are in very nice shape and the clutch, brake and gas pedals are showing light wear at best. The top and back window were new two years ago and are perfect. The top boot is included and nice. All the gauges work except the tachometer. The turn signals function but do not cancel after the turn. I will fix that before the sale. The body is very good but there are a few flaws (dings) that could be better. There is a little rust on the underside of the uni-body that measures about one by two inches. Not bad at all but worth mentioning. There is no rust in the body panels. The car isn't a show car, but makes for a great daily driver that can be right at home on a road trip or a local car show.
