Vehicle Detail

This has been a restoration project for me. I bought this car drove it home years ago and realized that some of the items on the car didn't work. .This car runs and sounds good, So far, New tires, wheels, windshield, rear bumper (still in wrapper shown in pics), new relay for sequential tail light system. new license plate light. I added a rear end and disc brakes from a parts cougar I had. Rear lighting and wiring has been gone through. electrician was 1/2 way through fixing wiring when I decided its time to find another hobby. I bought a heater core that is waiting to be installed, when the dash got remove for finishing the electrical..I haven't driven it far due the electrical issues, dimming headlights, wipers don't work dash lights don't work., the motor has a nice beefy sound.. The rear quarter panels were cut out and replaced with metal, due to rust, then painted prior to my purchase. The car was stripped to lighten its weight and was going to be raced, they said they had replaced the carpet prior to my purchase so I have not checked for rust under the car. Generally her in WA we don't use salt on the roads like the mid west so, I don't suspect rust in the floors. My mechanic would have said something when he replaced the rear end if there was bad rust. I bought a 1969 XR7 parts car that I used for replacement parts, disc brakes, rear end. Tires n wheels are 15" and were bought because of the disc break change.I suspect the roof may have rust, , but didnt want to check and open a can of worms when I needed the car street legal (electrical) to get anything else done. I hope this answers the questions submitted. I would keep the car, but I just bought my third cougar a 1967 Xr7 cougar in November that I don't have to work on in order to drive. This is the first time I've posted a car, I'm sure it wont be my last. So thanks for being patient.
