1927 Excelsior Super X Motorcycle ROLLING Project - Serial number 47XX Clear Florida Title Here is a project bike that needs a new home! ORIGINAL paint tank. Cases have had some work done however they are still in need more Frame has some reinforcement welded on lower rail, probably should be checked for proper alignment. Neck and rear section appear to be straight. Front end is a later Super X vintage with pedestal mounted springs. Correct and completely rebuilt wheel hubs front and rear. Laced with new Buchanan spokes to ??” drop center rims with new ??? tires & tubes. Rear EXTERNAL brake band and mount are present however drum is MIA. Schebler DLX 27 carburetor body. Splitdorf DU5 generator – needs to be rebuilt. RARE Super X pinion gear. “A” cam Correct cylinders, stock pocket valve housings, stock flywheels and everything else that you see in the pictures.
