Vehicle Detail
2018 BMW R1200GSA, Showroom Condition, Lowered Suspension, Loaded with Options + GPS Navigation and Vario Side Cases -- only 826 careful miles -- no off-road use -- $28,000 New including $3,000 in Extras -- NO RESERVE AUCTION -- first bid could win this bike for more than $6,000 less than total cost. Even if you decide to ship the bike you're still saving well over $5,000. - Carefully broken in following BMW’s recommended break-in rules; 600-mile service completed by Power BMW of Palm Bay, Florida. Next inspection due at 6,000 miles.- The bike performs perfectly in every respect, especially the Shift Assist Pro that allows you to shift without pulling in the clutch. I'm an "easy" rider who likes to use the clutch for up and down shifts but the Shift Assist Pro comes in handy especially if you need to decelerate quickly when coming into a tight turn that was tighter than you expected. Clutchless shifts are essentially a safety feature because they ensure the bike is always in gear except for the few milliseconds it takes the transmission to "snick" from one gear to another. Tests have proven this system is so much faster than shifting using the clutch lever -- probably the reason the same system is installed on racing bikes/cars. - BMW 3-Year Warranty with Roadside Assistance through November 2020. - Garaged Kept + Covered -- Showroom Condition -- never down -- never off road -- no dents, dings, scrapes, scuffs or scratches, period. It’s a new bike maxed out with options and extras, broken-in, new condition, ready for the new owner -- that could be you. - Options include: -- LED Headlight -- ABS Pro -- LED Auxiliary Lights -- Cruise Control -- Tire Pressure Monitoring System -- Heated Grips -- Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) -- Keyless Ride -- On Board Computer Pro -- Gear Shift Assist Pro -- Ride Modes Pro (Road, Rain, Dynamic, User) -- Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) -- Hill Start Control -- Control Brake Light -- Low Suspension -- Chrome Exhaust Pipe - Extras (more than $2,800) include: -- BMW Navigation integrated into the hand controller and keyed to the OEM key -- BMW Aluminum Vario (expandable) Side Cases keyed to the OEM key Note: The bike came installed with the metal framework for mounting aluminum cases. That framework was removed by the BMW tech to install the Vario-cases. These parts will be shipped to the new owner as well. -- BMW GS Tank Bag with quick releases -- BMW Radiator Guards -- Go-Gravel Clear Lens Headlight Guard -- AdMore Rear Flashing Brake Light & Auxiliary Turn Signal -- Seahorse waterproof locking top case -- Genius Battery Charger -- USB Power Adapter - I ordered this bike in November 2017; picked it up with 9 miles on the odometer; nobody else has ridden it except for the service tech at Power BMW of Palm Bay for the initial service and the 600-mile service. - This bike has the lowered suspension option and the standard seat. I have a 30” inseam and my feet are flat on the ground. I’ve owned two other GSs and this GS Adventure, with a full (7.9 gallon) tank still feels like a bike half its weight. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between a GS fully fueled and this GSA fully fueled and I'm a 148-pound old man who just received his Medicare Card. - This is the first bike in the 15 bikes I’m owned over the last 42 years with mirrors that do not vibrate regardless of speed, RPM or road surface. It is by far the finest motorcycle (including the 9 other BMWs) I have owned in every respect; ergonomics, balance, quality, versatility, fit, function and fun. - Why am I selling this bike? I just retired, moved to Florida and bought this bike because I always wanted a GSA, especially when I saw the new 2018 Light White/Cordoba Blue paint scheme (check out how “GS” wraps around the tank on both sides) and the AWESOME new glare-free TFT display. It is drop-dead gorgeous, turns heads everywhere you go and with just a millisecond glance at the TFT display you see everything you need to know instantly. Unfortunately, age-related, bio-mechanical issues, due in part to too many marathons, triathlons, parachute landings and war-zone hazards have made motorcycling more difficult for me, so I am turning my attention and my resources to boating. Funny (not really) – I now have the time but not the stamina to really enjoy what a GSA can do. If you win the auction: - Pay Instructions: I would like a $500 deposit via PayPal or overnight by Money Order or Cashier’s Check. The balance should be paid within 10 days; direct money transfer or cashier’s check. I will not release the bike until the payment (both deposit and balance) have cleared my bank. If you send a cashier’s check from a Bank of America, Wells Fargo or Chase Bank your payment will deposit more quickly. - Shipping is the new owner’s responsibility. The new owner will make all arrangements directly with the shipper including all shipping charges. My part: I will go out of my way to meet the shipper’s schedule and pickup location in order to get the bike shipped to the new owner without delay. If you chose to fly in and pick up the bike, Orlando International Airport is just 40 minutes away. In either case, payment must be secured before the bike is turned over to the shipper or the new owner. - If you’ve never owned a GSA, this is the GSA you need -- new condition, broken in, unique color scheme, AWESOME TFT display, unmatched quality with an auction starting price over $6,000 below cost. With NO RESERVE on this auction, the first bidder could win this bike, easy -- that could be you. - Good Luck!Note: If you decide to purchase a 2018 BMW GSA sight unseen from a dealer make sure you verify it has the new TFT display (if that is what you want), because some of the 2018s shipped with the old analog speedometer. I know this because my dealer got one in after mine, same color, but with the old analog, hard to read, display.
