This truck is in great shape for its age! It runs great, drives straight, and brakes perfectly. Engine and Tranny are original. The engine is the original Chevy 292 Inline 6 and the tranny is the original 4 speed (granny gear) manual transmission. The truck runs and drives well, but can't be driven for long periods of time because of an oil leak. The body of this truck is nearly rust free and the floor panels are in nearly perfect condition. These longbed stepsides are hard to come by in such great shape. Among other things, we have replaced the following: Wiring harness, steering column and wheel, headlights, tailights, carburetor, radiator, new HEI distributor, and brakes. We've put a lot of work in this truck and it has really paid off. It is ready for your choice of insulation and carpet. The truck is a perfect candidate for a full restoration or hot rod.
