I searched for a very long time trying to find this exact configuration. It is the HD 2500 4x4 with the 8.1 Liter Vortec backed by the HD automatic transmission, 4.10 gear ratio for towing and every day driving, with only 108K miles! Most of these either had high miles with minimal options or are not in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition with low miles. We searched high and low for months to find one this clean and nice with what I believe to be the best color combination of black exterior with gray leather interior. My family used "Black Beauty" to pull our small 16 foot boat to the lake and it hauled us all with comfort. I couldn't even feel that little boat behind us while towing, very nice! We also used this for Summer family activities and I have been nothing short of impressed in many ways with this rig. So versatile, drives wonderful, and lots of comfortable usable space. But, as all things do in life, needs have changed. The girls are out of the house now, and while this is an amazing vehicle, we are looking to downsize at this time. This is a great opportunity for someone to purchase this rare find of an exceptionally well cared for Suburban. The body and paint on "Black Beauty" are absolutely stunning throughout. There is absolutely no rust anywhere. There are NO noticeable scratches, dings, or dents to be found anywhere. Absolutely gorgeous condition, sleek and sexy throughout. The glass is all in great shape. No cracks in the glass and I did not find any chips or scratches. I believe you will be thoroughly impressed by the condition throughout. This Suburban has been loved by our family and obviously been loved by the previous owner as shown by the meticulous care it has received over the years. I have taken lots of close ups below to try to represent how truly nice the condition is. This is a LOADED LT trim model and I will try to cover the factory options as well as any other unique features on "Black Beauty". It has all of the typical power options to include power windows and door locks. It has dual zone climate control in the front and rear air that can be controlled from the front or rear passengers as you see fit. Dual power heated leather seats in front, middle row is the captain chair style (quad seating), and in the rear is a removable bench seat. There is a flip down DVD player for the kids in the back (a life saver for long trips for little ones) with 2 sets of headphones and remote. This does have the BOSE speaker sound system with an aftermarket touch screen head unit with remote and is equipped with a backup camera. Very nice sound! All of the lights (interior, gauge cluster, dome, exterior lights, etc.) have been converted to LED and/or HID lights. Of course it has cruise control, tilt wheel, tachometer, moon roof, roof rack, tow package, and running boards. The power mirrors are actually an upgraded tow style mirror that retract and extend which gives a much better view behind at whatever you may be towing. The alloy wheels are an upgraded factory wheel as most of these came with steel wheels and beauty rings from the factory. The tires have nice even wear and probably are at 35-40 percent tread life left. The tires were the only future maintenance item I had on my list, and are not necessary yet. I am sure I have not named every option it has, but if it came as an option, it probably has it! Beautiful condition and luxurious throughout, but most importantly, everything works as it should! How does it run and drive you might ask? Exactly as nice as you would expect. The motor fires right up smooth and without any strange sounds or noises. It does not smoke, idles smooth, revs quick and runs very strong. The transmission shifts through all of the gears consistent, firm, and precise. The transfer case shifts through all settings and works as it should. Braking is firm, predictable, and does not pull or shimmy. It drives down the road straight, steering is tight, suspension is smooth yet responsive. The rear autoride suspension has been updated to a conventional style shock suspension. We were advised while having other maintenance work performed that the Bilstein shocks would perform better on this for towing and the conversion was recommended. The handling is much better than the original autoride system but the service suspension light illuminates now when first started. This goes out immediately once any button is pushed on the steering wheel and is not any kind of mechanical problem, just that system has been changed from an air autoride system to a conventional system. This has proven to be a more reliable system that simply outperforms the original system. I would highly recommend this update to anyone with the other type of rear suspension. Pride of ownership is reflected on the interior as well,"Black Beauty" is very nice with extremely minimal wear and has obviously been loved all of its life. The driver's side seat shows a tiny bit of wear with very minor cracking in the leather (close up pics below) but it is in really nice shape still, and that is the worst thing I can find on the whole interior. All of the leather upholstery is in very nice condition throughout. Very little wear if any shown throughout and way less than one would possibly expect from a 2004 vehicle. The carpet is very nice showing very minimal wear and is free from any rips or strange odors. The headliner is perfect. All of the trim pieces, plastic bezels, console, switches, look like new! Comes with 2 keyless entry fobs, owner's manual, 2 sets of wireless headphones, DVD player remote and a remote for the aftermarket head unit. Don't spend $70k plus on a new one when you can have something this nice for so much less!
