1996 BMW Z3 PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING!! I will describe the BMW in as much detail as possible. But, please feel free to contact me with any questions at all. HISTORY I bought the car in October 2017 (I’m selling because the wife hates having a standard) from the second owner family, they have owned it since 1999. It has been garage kept and well cared for. There are several receipts for maintenance performed over the years – belts, hoses, pumps, gaskets, thermostats, brakes, sensors and various other routine items. A new top was put on in 2003 and is in excellent shape. The overall condition is well above average and being a garage kept car does show with this BMW. I have listed it with no reserve for what I have in it. I hate to sell it but don’t need four cars. RECENT SERVICE ON 06/14/2017 INCLUDES – WATER PUMP, 2 BELTS, NEW FAN BLADE, WATER PUMP PULLEY, FAN CLUTCH, THERMOSTAT AND HOUSING. $968.64 EXTERIOR The paint on this car is in great condition. There are no signs of paint or body work at all. The very few imperfections are so slight that they are hardly noticeable - normal rock chips, scratches and blemishes as you would expect (but I’d have to point them out for the most part). The glass is factory original and is intact with an older tint applied (slight lift on the tops and one angle window). The exterior lights all work as they should. WHEELS & TIRES / SUSPENSION The wheels and tires are in above average condition for a vehicle with this mileage and age. The tires have about 30% remaining and are in good condition. The brakes are in good condition with no squeaking, grabbing or other issues. The car could use new front struts as there is minimal front-end float starting to set in. It doesn’t affect normal driving but is noticeable if you go over a LARGE bump. The rear is fine. All of the weight in these cars is up front so they wear faster. INTERIOR & ACCESSORIES The interior is in well above average condition for the age and mileage. There is a seam separation on the driver seat as noted in the pictures. There are no rips or holes in the seats other than that. All the switches operate properly – windows, mirrors, locks, power seats and all others operate properly. The radio works but is an aftermarket JVC with CD player. The gauges function and read properly. The airbag light is on, but no codes are present. The cruise control works. The A/C is cold. The cargo lid, behind the seats, is missing as it became brittle from the sun and cracked, in half, I had it but threw it away and just left the cargo area open. ENGINE The engine fires up and runs as it should. There are no unusual sounds coming from it at all. A code reader indicates no stored codes, no pending codes and no recently cleared codes. TRANSMISSION The 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly and there are no concerns with the clutch at present as it hits the proper friction point every time. I have tried to accurately describe the BMW to the best of my ability. However, please call or text with any questions at all. This is a no reserve auction with a very reasonable starting bid. TERMS OF SALE A $250.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close. CASH OR CERTIFIED FUNDS ONLY. The balance is due within 3 days and the vehicle must be picked up within 3 days as well. If these terms are not met the vehicle will be relisted or offered to the next highest bidder. If you can not or do not agree to these terms, please do not bid.
