1928 Ford Model A Special CoupeExquisite, California, Rust Free ExampleThis extremely rare 1928 Ford Model A Special All Steel Coupe with rumble seat, was ground up restored correctly, in every detail, and is perhaps one of the best examples available at any price! Although there are a very few slight imperfections in the finish, this beautiful Model A is arguably judged as a number 2 example. This Model A was restored authentically in every detail and will show respectively at any show or event.The fit and clearances of the hood and doors are to Model A judging standards.The LeBaron Bonney mohair interior, as well as Rumble seat upholstery, are near flawless. A extremely rare, Ford factory rebuilt motor identification plate, is attached to the block. Original production date stamp is visible on firewall. California titled with two original, 1928 License plates. Finish is Arabian Sand Light with French Gray and Copra Drab Trim. All chrome, mirrors and glass in excellent condition. Ahooga horn, Gauges, and lights are functional. Six volt original system. 21" spoke wheels. Interior correctly restored; Mohair bench seat with original wood frame, springs and correctly hand tacked without the use of modern day staples.Mechanics are excellent. Does not smoke, knock or leak. Starts easily and shifts as a Model A should. Brakes work perfect. Gauges all work as well. Vinyl top is in excellent condition.
