Offered for the first time publicly in decades, this 1968 Jaguar E-Type California Coupe. You will not be spending time and money rebuilding the body or undercarriage. It features the original 4.2 liter matching numbers straight six and drive line. The engine starts easily, runs very well and does not smoke or burn oil. This cat does not mark it's territory with puddles of oil, where it sits. The clutch does not slip or chatter and the gearbox shifts very nice. The oil pressure is excellent and the alternator charges well.The original color is what you see on the bonnet, Opalescent Silver Blue, the interior has it's original Dark Blue leather seats and trim. The floor pans are very nice and solid, as are the rockers, door bottoms and boot floor. The car is in need of paint, some chrome, new leather and wool carpet. (We recommend BAS ltd. interiors, Palm Springs CA) Brake work and general restoration. Not sure there is such a thing as an easy restoration, but this is about as close as any I've seen lately.
