Vehicle Detail
Runs great; extremely tight motor; gets about 31 mpg; new front speakers; I've had it for over 100,000 miles; cranks everytime - no doubt; paints in good shape; interiors in good shape; rides great; a/c and heat are great; it is a solid car - like a tank; I use synthetic oil and it only goes down about a half of a quart between changes at about 8,000 miles; I have way too many cars so this one has to go; now the bad news - it will still take you anywhere you want to go but it has a tranny issue; it just downshifts sometimes but I found a tranny to go in it if you wanted to just replace it and I know a good local mechanic who said he would put it in for $350; and I don't think the turbo part currently works, but it will still get you there and back as fast as you need and the motor performs very well; 305,xxx miles. On Jan-20-18 at 21:07:38 PST, seller added the following information: Almost forgot, the car has a brand new rack and pinion steering system professionally installed about 2 months ago: FYI - I thought I had an issue with the power steering pump about 4 months ago, harder to steer and whining. I put a brand new pump on the car and it still whined, etc. Found out it was the rack and pinion steering system leaking. So I had a brand new rack and pinion steering system professionally installed about two months ago. Unfortunately the new power steering pump got the worst of the situation and although the rack and pinion steering system has been totally replaced and is brand new the pump probably needs replacing since it whines, etc and, I would assume, that is because the new pump went too long without adequate power steering fluid because it was leaking out of the formerly bad rack and pinion steering system, which has now been professionally replaced. Please send me any questions you may have.
