This Cayman R is a new arrival to our store, and we just purchased it from the second owner, who bought it 3 years ago from Byers Porsche in Columbus. He is a long time PCA member, Porsche enthusiast, and multi-porsche owner who took meticulous care of the car over his 3 year ownership. To provide confidence to the next owner, we sent the car to Byers Porsche immediately after purchase for it's annual service and inspection. As anticipated, it passed with flying colors! Call or text for more details: (740)973-7978This R is certainly unique; there were supposedly less than 700 R's total brought to the US, for 2011 and 2012 only. The R had a factory sport exhaust with revised Porsche tuning for 10 more horsepower over the S, and also featured aluminum doors borrowed from the 997, as well as the lightweight seat option, and various other changes to make it the lightest, fastest Cayman produced up to that point. This particular Cayman R had an original MSRP of over $90k, making it one of the highest optioned R's you'll find. It is the only one for sale with the combination of Sport Chrono package plus, Carbon seats, PDK transmission, and Ceramic brakes. It has the rare Turbo II wheel option, and is wearing red belts, a platinum finished center console, and is made complete with factory Porsche navigation as well as air conditioning (don't laugh, it was optional on the R). Call or text for more details: (740)973-7978Condition wise, this Porsche shows excellent from front to back, as you'd assume for a car of this year and miles. The paint looks beautiful and is free of any major blemishes or damage, with only light lower chin / bumper rash nearly undetectable unless down and looking for it. The only major "stand out" imperfections I would note are some nicks on a few of the wheels as pictured below, and a spot/scuff on the passenger side of the front chin spoiler in front of the right front wheel (see pics). Inside, the interior looks fantastic as well, and this R has been upgraded with a rear harness bar/ partial roll bar. It will include a set of 5-point Sparco harnesses that snap in and out if the new buyer wants them. Mechanically, this R is fantastic. The Michelin tires are nearly new all around, the pads have plenty of life left, and out on the road this car runs and performs flawlessly.
