Fuzzy Dice Autos Has up for auction a very desirable 1965 Ford Mustang C Code coupe in all around great condition. This highly collectable Mustang came to us in an estate sale. It’s prior owner had it completely restored 10 years ago. The restoration included a period correct Ford 289 High performance motor and a 4 BBL Edelbrock carb. A healthy cam was also installed making the car faster with a great sound. Researching the block numbers indicates the replacement motor is a 1966 Ford Motor Company shelf engine. The existing motor is said to have been driven 40,000 miles. The automatic transmission is said to be original to the car. The VIN number, 5F07C612806 indicates that the vehicle is a C-Code 289 V8 but had a 2 BBL carb when manufactured. The body and paint are in excellent condition. No rust nor damage anywhere. The under carriage is also solid and rust free. A new trunk pad was installed during its restoration period. A very presentable mild hood scoop was also added. A beautiful set of American Racing wheels and new tires were also added. The original interior was removed and replaced with a new “Pony” interior. The dash pad is original and houses a newer up to date gauge package and walnut racing steering wheel. The carpeting and headliner are also in excellent condition. I’m told that the car is and always was garaged kept and was never driven in bad weather. The car is a blast to drive. She goes fast and strong and stops on a dime. Much faster than the typical 289 it was born with. (No power steering nor power brakes) The is an excellent driver that you can take anywhere and often or saved for those summer cruises and car shows.
