This is a hard one for me to let go. My father bought this car new from B&B Chevrolet in Yorba Linda, California where he lived for many years. This car was his retirement gift to himself. He drove it until 2008 when he turned 80, at which time he decided to cut back on driving. With very rare exception it was garaged every night since new. It has never been smoked in. There has never been any corrosion or rust of any kind. I have a lot of the paperwork from over the years including the factory sticker. ( pic included )Regarding the mechanic's, I dislike driving a car where options or mechanical issues don't work or operate properly. I have spent many hours making sure this car is operating at its finest. I don't care for aftermarket parts so whenever possible GM parts are used. This car is road ready to jump in a go anywhere the road may take you. After I received the car from dad I performed a major serving which included rebuilding the CrossFire Injection System, new Goodyear Eagles, new brakes, shocks, u-joints, all fluid changes. The only change on the car from stock is a later year Corvette Bose CD player which replaced the Cassette that came with the car. It drives out very nice. I have driven it quite a bit the past few weeks. It is very dependable, and a fun car in general to drive. The reason for the sale is I'm moving and won't be able to keep this car garaged at my new location. I won't leave it outside to fall, a victim, to the elements.Like any car 23 years old there are little scratches and burses here and there. I don't show my cars I drive them. I do my best to keep it as sharp of a driver as I can.
