It is the culmination of a year of R&D and testing. We've built numerous LS E36's, this one being the best example I've seen personally. No corners were cut, care and time were taken to ensure that this car will be perfectly set up for it's new owner. This car was built to be aesthetically and functionally OEM, just considerably more capable. The painted shell was purchased from Group 2 Motorsports (www.g2motorsports.com) here in Magnolia, WA. It had been a California car all its life before they received it (can provide car-fax report, just ask). The mileage on the body is about 130,xxx if I remember correctly. The car was going to be a build for their shop so they tore it down to a bare shell, all glass out, all panels off, and had the bodywork/paint done, this is a PROPER paint job. Customer plans changed and we were able to snag it from them as the perfect donor chassis. It now has a clean Washington title in my name. It's one of the cleanest bodies I’ve seen on an e36, after years of working on them I've realized they almost always need bodywork and paint. After bringing it back to our shop we completed the drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and interior. It took 3 e36s in parts to fully outfit this car properly. The motor was purchased from a friend who builds and races 1000+hp LS Volvo 240s. The motor was taken apart and refreshed, all machine and assembly work, except valve train, was done by Block Head Machine in Tukwila, WA. The car has been tuned by Frost at EFI Performance, engine setup should be good for right near 400WHP. And with this cam being a "sleeper cam" you don't have any of the negatives you usually encounter (rough idle, loss of vacuum) It is a very streetable setup that, besides the added HP, is very comparable to stock. I’m very aware that this is not a car for everyone, and that it most likely won’t sell locally. If you have ANY questions or photo requests please don’t hesitate to ask. Will work with shipping to any location at buyer’s expense. 400hp ls1 e36 M3 acceleration - YouTube Video will open in a new window [isdntekvideo]
