Vehicle Detail
This car is all original California car. Have the Marti report that states car purchased at Cherry Ford in Long Beach in 1967. Been in Los Angeles all its life. I have had it about 12 years but now have other projects that need attention. Engine replaced in 1968 by the dealer with the upgraded new 302, I believe. Original interior in good shape except for the dash pad is sagging a little. Car was factory black interior and had the optional console that is currently out but I have it stored and is in decent shape. Rare Factory AC car with really rare AM/FM radio option. AC / heater box all rebuilt and new. Have not installed the stock large Ford AC compressor yet as I was torn between stock and the new smaller designs. Engine compartment has been detailed and is nice driver quality show ready. Complete undercarriage has been detailed and painted from rear bumper to front bumper. All front and rear springs new, power steering pump and steering link new, brakes new, bushings new. New fuel tank. Trans and rear end are stock and work well. Has Turbo-thrust 5 spoke wheels and TA Radial 225 tires for the Bullit look and stance.Body is decent shape. Small rust bubbles appearing on the passenger side only in front of the wheel well and also the truck rocker panel behind the wheel. Doors that usually rust are rust-free. Also a small amount of rust above the drivers feet on the firewall. Floors are fine. Spring rod that holds the truck lid open is missing. Someone did add speakers in the panel behind the folding rear seats. Everything else is complete. This car has not been hot rodded or cut up for sunroofs and aftermarket stereos. Hard to find these days.On Dec-03-17 at 10:34:22 PST, seller added the following information: I should note that the images seem not to be able to zoom. I thought that a picture is better than verbage but not in this case. The paint is just Ok for a driver quality. It was done prior to me and is painted over the original factory bronze. It should be understood that is it not show quality. Also the stitching on the lower rear seat is pull apart. It is only the thread opened up and can be re-stitched keeping the seat all original. On Dec-04-17 at 07:39:33 PST, seller added the following information: I have uploaded better size photos. As ebay only allows 24 photos and you can not delete initial photos, the good ones are at the end. If you start from the end and move forward, only the last 5 are small and unclickable.
