Up for sale in a no reserve auction is a beautiful low mileage 1983 Suzuki GS1100 GL. This fully dressed 1100 is my cruiser and it has gone only 10,372 miles in its 34 years. This bike has been carefully maintained and is in outstanding condition. It will take you anywhere you can handle. It is fast and it is stable even when it is going well over 100 miles an hour. I just replaced the front fork seals last week. I rebuilt all four carbs. It has a good battery that is one year old and good tires with less than 1000 miles on them. It has very cool rear shocks. The paint is really good given its age. The chrome is great with original handle bars, grips and mirrors and good looking crash bars. The exhaust is original and solid. The pictures speak for themselves. The Vetter package is in great shape. The side bags come off of to be carried right in. There is a box that sits on the rear but I don't use it. It and some extra parts go with the bike. You really won't find too many of these bikes in this condition and you won't find too many bikes better than an early 80's GS. They are wonderful to ride and beautiful to see. This GS has only been out of the driveway once this season. It was probably out twice last summer, so it's a little stiff and wants to go somewhere. I wish it didn't have to go but I don't want it to sit in my garage. Here's hoping for a new home and some great road adventures. Thanks for looking.
