These cars do exist !!! Very rare '58 Custom Safari wagon . Restoration project that never got off the ground . The Safari is complete except for engine and transmission , glass is good except for windshield . Minimal rust in rear quarters behind the tires , rock solid floors and spare tire well , the only dents are in the rocker area and bottom of right front fender . Interior has been completely removed, all parts seem to be there , they just need to be made new again . I have not been able to find another '58 Star Chief Custom Safari wagon anywhere to compare this to . I have been able to locate an original drive train for it but in today's world of resto mods , someone will want to put a new LS 6 or somethong like that in it .Very easy project to complete, no parts to chase down , the chrome and stainless are all there .
