For your consideration is my 2005 Nissan Maxima w/ Elite Package. This car is starting to have some problems and I am not fixing anything else as it has 252,318 miles. This car doesn't owe me anything and I figured it's not worth fixing since it has such high mileage. I am the second owner of this car and have owned it for 10 years since 34,000 miles. I have ran Mobile 1 10w-40 Synthetic Oil for about the last 5 years. This car burns about 3/4 of a quart every oil change (3000 miles). Most recent problems that I haven't addressed: - P0726 - Engine Speed Input Circuit Range/PerformanceThis code here is what caused me to buy a new car. The car will RANDOMLY die, put itself into limp mode (stuck in 5th gear). This happens about once a week, once it happened twice in two days. First, you'll lose power and the car dies, then I usually throw it into neutral, coast to a stop, turn the key off, pop the hood, unhook and reconnect the negative battery cable, and then start the car and it drives just fine again. Feel free to ask anymore questions. - Service Engine Soon Light, SLIP Light, TCS Off Light, ABS Light, and Brake Light ALL On The car still runs and drives great when it doesn't randomly die. I drove this car for a month 50-75 miles a day randomly dying approximately once a week since the P0726 code started.
