Thought lost forever the original Dante's Peak Suburban has been found! Here is your chance to own cinematic history driven by legendary actor (famously known as 007) Pierce Brosnan. Dante's Peak is a 1997 American dramatic disaster thriller film directed by Roger Donaldson, Starring Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton, Charles Hallahan, Elizaeth Hoffman, Jamie Renee Smith, Jeremy Foley and, Grant Heslov. The film was set in the fictional town of Dante's Peak where the inhabitants must survive a volcanic eruption and the resultant dangers. Filming took place in Wallace, Idaho. It was released on February 7, 1997 under the production of Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures and Pacific Western Productions The iconic Suburban is drivable but in need of restoration. Please ask any questions first. The Suburban is located near Maryville, Missouri which is about 90 miles north of Kansas City. Three of the pictures are from the movie, the two that look like it's driving through snow (volcanic dust in the movie) and the one in the water. Notice the snorkel that allows it to drive through water. As you can see the snorkel is still there but I don't think it works. The other pictures were taken by us less than two months ago.
