This incredible Mustang runs as good as it looks. The paint is in Excellent , For those who don;t know these California package are ford production cars based on the Shelby body flares , trim, and performance package . The convertible soft top is in good condition with no tears and the interior is very clean with only minor creasing in the leathers. This is the best running and fastest GT we have had the pleasure of driving in the past couple of years and we have had a lot of them. One of 921 total produced Convertible GT California Specials. One of less than 50 Vapor Silver manual GT/SC's. The GT/CS, or "California Special," returned as an option package for the 2009 Mustang GT in Premium trim, for a third consecutive year. As with the 2008 package, no discernable changes were made on the mechanical side of things. A new color, Vapor Silver Clearcoat Metallic, became available for 2009, replacing Grabber Orange Clearcoat in the lineup. The only other change was that the floor mats now featured a chrome "MUSTANG" logo rather than the California Special nomenclature. As a tribute to the 1968 California Special, Ford added a limited production factory GT/California Special in 2007. The GT/CS is based on a Mustang GT with a 4.6 liter engine. The GT/CS option adds 2 tone seats (Dove or Parchment inserts), unique floor mats, side stripes (with GT/CS behind the front wheel RH and LH), side scoops (behind doors), 18" polished aluminum wheels, rolled exhaust tips, faux gas cap (with words "California Special"), lowered front bumper/valance and unique rear bumper This car has some performance enhancements such as an upgraded exhaust system, up graded free flow air cleaner and the Eibach Springs Pro-Kit. It is also fitted with a new set of Firestone Firehawk wide oval Indy 500 tires and new brakes all around.
