If you're like me and you prefer passenger vans over conversion vans then you'll really like this beautiful 1996 Dodge 3/4 ton Ram Van with the SLT trim package. This van has had only one owner before me and I treated it like an original owner would. It's a sharp van with an attractive color scheme, great options, and it's in fantastic shape for it's age. I've never seen another van like this one. I always get compliments on it. This van is loaded with options :power steering, power brakes, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, tilt, cruise, keyless entry, illuminated entry, front and rear heat and A/C, am/fm cassette cd player. Other noteworthy features are a full gauge package, lighted vanity mirror (passenger side), deluxe engine cover with tons of storage, storage drawer under passenger seat, full size spare mounted inside the van, locking glove compartment with light, step bumper, tow hitch, factory tinted windows that also tilt outwards, full body side molding, factory chrome slotted wheels and an engine compartment light. The original factory paint is in very good condition and still shines nicely. The cloth interior is also in excellent shape with no rips or holes. Headliner is fully intact and not sagging. The carpet is in very good condition. The body is very straight and clean.The engine and transmission runs very smooth. No smoke or leaks.This van has been very dependable and took me wherever I wanted to go with no problems. 1996 was actually a special year for Dodge. It was the first year for OBD2 (onboard diagnostics) which means that the scanner tool used on today's vehicles to check for codes works on this van. Also, it was the last year that Dodge offered the "old school" vent windows on the driver's and passenger's doors.In 1997 the vent windows were there but they were fixed and not operational ! Things that need attention:There is a small dent at the left rear corner, the left rear tail light has a tiny fracture, the passenger side mirror is a little loose, the passenger side rear door glass has some surface scratches, the cd function doesn't work, the driver's door speaker is not working, the gas gauge is not accurate below 1/4 tank, and there's very small rip in the vinyl section (below the upholstery) of the driver's seat. The vehicle is not new so please expect some wear from normal use which, in this case, is less than your average 1996 vehicle.
