The vehicle currently has 37,792 miles as of Oct 2017 when it was removed from service as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle drives well with no apparent issues present. The front tires are new & the rear tires have approximately 60% tread remaining on the tires. The warning lights & an old vise are remaining with the truck. The rear service body doors are difficult to latch. The exterior is fair condition. The roof has an antenna base remaining. The front push bumper has significant corrosion present. The driver door has minor light scratches present. The driver side rear fold out door has minor light scratches present. The rear bumper spray covering is peeling. The Stahl GC-X service body is in poor condition. There is significant corrosion in multiple spots, discoloration at the top surfaces, the bedliner is peeling in the bed, the left rearmost door is cracked & difficult to open, there is damage to the fiberglass at the right rear, the right side trim is missing. The interior is in good condition. The driver seat lower cushion has an aftermarket fabric cover installed over the original due to wear. There are seven (7) small screw holes present in the lower center console from where a two-way radio was previously installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in May 2017 at 37,032 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Aug 2017, at 37,754 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Apr 2016, the turn signal fuse was replaced. In Oct 2014, at 28,951 miles, the right front outer tie rod end was replaced. In Oct 2012, at 22,491 miles, the driver side lower seat had an aftermarket seat cover installed. In Sept 2012, at 22,143 miles, the driver side lower seat cover was temporarily repaired. In Mar 2017, at 7,841 miles, the alternator was replaced under warranty & the following recalls were completed by the local Ford dealership (#05E15, #59B01, & #05B32). In Mar 2007, at 7,837 miles, the right side brake light assembly was replaced. In June 2005, at 1,413 miles, the truck had step bars installed. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
