2006 Volvo XC90 T5 awd - NO RESERVE THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS FOR NO RESERVE and it will need repairs / work. Please understand this before you bid. If you want to inspect the car this can be arranged but MUST be done PRIOR to bidding. Please contact me to make arrangements. Up for auction is a 2006 Volvo XC90 T5 AWD with 160,311 miles. Car has been sitting for several months. Prior to that it was used as an extra car and driven very infrequently and for short distances. The body and paint is in good condition. Interior is black leather and in decent condition, but shows some wear, nothing that wouldn't be expected from a car of this age and mileage. No rips or tears. The stock radio was replaced with an aftermarket unit, a Pioneer AVN-x2700BS. The car also has weathertech floor mats as well as the stock ones too. The car starts and runs and drives and the transmission shifts and can be driven around BUT the engine makes a clicking / tapping / clacking noise when it's idling and when driving. Sometimes this gets louder and then sometimes it goes away. The check engine light on the dash is on and the dash shows "SRS-AIRBAG SERVICE", "Time for regular service", and "fill washing fluid". The hood latch (under the hood) is sticky and doesn't always release making the hood difficult to open (requires a long screw driver to poke the latch open). The rear trunk wiper blade is broken off. This car is being sold AS-IS, please be aware this is an old car with lots of miles and has issues and that this car needs work. I don't want anyone to be surprised and unaware of that. Bid accordingly. Car is located in Port Washington NY on Long Island. It can be inspected and driven. Please contact me to make arrangements to see it. It runs and drives (I've driven it around the block a few times recently) but has been sitting and isn't driven regularly and the engine sounds a bit funny so it might be best to have it towed to a repair facility.
