So here goes. I've searched and searched when i was shopping for my ultimate dream car. The story behind the C36 is beyond special. The collaboration between AMG and Mercedes starting with this particular model in the states is something no other vehicle in the Mercedes Fleet could ever have. Met a great guy in Florida is owned this car for 7 years prior to me purchasing it from him. He was the second owner. It was his pride and joy and i promised to take care of it when i purchased it. Here goes on the things that i know. I will post all the good and bad. If you feel its good for you then lets talk. If you feel the problems are to much than i understand as well. No hard feelings.. Car is fully tuned up. Wiring harness re-placed. Car was re-sprayed a few years ago but recently around 3 months ago i re-sprayed the front and rear bumpers. Car has an alarm which controls the doors to open and close. Has an Alpine Radio with Bluetooth & satellite radio. Works and sounds great. I changed the front corner lights to clear because i hated looking at the yellow turners. I put HID lights into the Headlights & Fogs. But it seems it needs some sort of relay. When the car is running and you turn the lights on the dash turns off. But when i turn the car off while the lights are on and re start it everything comes back on. Kind of weird. Haven't had time to shoot over to the place that did the lights but i will try to get over there. Never happened when it had the original lights. Seems the ballast are draining a little to much power. Car does have some dings and dangs. Couple places the paint is chipping which you can see if your directly looking at it but from even standing 1 foot away you wont be able to see anything. Hood has rock chips and rock chips on rear by where the wheels spin. NORMAL. I just changed all the rotors and all the breaks and did wheel alignment. I noticed there was alittle oil leaking so i took straight to the mechanic and changed some piece i dont remember what its called. (lol) Since changing it, its been perfect. Cost around $500. Car is dropped on new shocks and springs to give it the stance it has now. Sitting on 18" Original E55 Staggered Monoblocks. The stance is PERFECT !! 1 wheel has slight curb rash from a bad night (lol) but easily fixed by any rim repair place. Car has a newer headliner since almost every w202 had that problem. Sunroof works perfect with no leaks. I vinyled the roof black. Can take off if you want but i saw a little color fading plus i own a sign company and it was easy and fun to wrap the roof. The interior looks brand new. No rips nothing. Missing a little molding on the side of the moldings but i bought one on eBay and i painted it. Just need to install it. Realistically im going to bed honest. The car needs NOTHING. Just someone to love it and drive it. Its been sitting in my garage for almost a month and just don't have the time to drive it. I just lease traded my Lexus Coupe and Lexus Sedan. I have a second child coming in a couple months and i need a truck to drive everyday. Need 2 car seats. Could use the money to put towards a truck. I'm not in any rush to sell and i will not accept low ball offers. I can face time anyone who wants to see it if your out of town. Its sitting in my garage. Message me if you have any questions. But if you want to spend some money on it to make it yours and perfect.. Wouldn't need much... Original Motor, Original Trans. (drives better and switches better than my new cars) The car was a dream for me. Next person, please take care of it. I'm still friends with the previous owner on Facebook and we talk about the car sometimes. Anytime i take the car out people go crazy when they see it. Its very special <3
