1986 Honda

Original plastic, original tank, original seat all in great shape. Plastic has one small crack buy trunk lid (see pic). Has brand new Douglas aluminum wheels and tires. 22x12.5x9 Bearclaw rear and 24x9x10 swamplite front. (Slightly taller and narrower for better ground clearance and steering). Have original wheels and original size tires that also go with it. Have gone through everything. If not perfect it was replaced. New carb runs great. Have original carb that will go with machine but instead of rebuilding 30 yr old carb I have had great luck with these carbs. Starts right up runs great everything works as it should. Replaced rear spring and shock with original I bought on eBay (expensive) and it works perfectly. New battery, air filter, plug. Very tiny, very slow oil drip around drain plug I planned to fix next oil change. Brakes are perfect. Original steel Gas tank perfect with absolutely zero rust that is typical with these bikes. I bought from original owner who said had been inside and babied it's whole life and it shows, then I put a ton of money in it to make it better. This is one of the nicest '86 250sx I have seen in 20 years. I also have a parts bike 1985 sx that runs great (motor, rear end, trans, etc.) but ugly plastic and no brakes. Starts up and runs great. Will have it in separate listing...will sell as is or start restoring.
