1978 BMW R100S vintage airhead in great condition. Correct R100S, with triple matching numbers. Very good running and riding bike. I have owned for over 5 years, and have ridden it less than 4,000 miles in that time. Properly maintained, and stored in climate controlled garage. Older restoration with some normal wear showing, but presents very well. Includes bags. Comes with tool kit and owners manual in tool tray, and the hand air pump attached to the frame under the seat. Tools stamped Heyco and West Germany. I put on Ikon shocks ($400) which improved the handling. Original shocks included. Nice paint and chrome. Tank straight and clean inside. Clear Texas title in my name I have tried to show photos of wear spots. The right upper fairing under the shield had been repaired by the previous owner (see photo). It is missing the rear grab rail. Left bag showing the start of a crack. Footpeg rubbers worn. All electrics work as they should, except the clock and the neutral light bulb is out. Starts, stops, runs and rides very well with clean shifting and a strong clutch. Inspections welcomed. Buyer responsible for shipping. $500 Paypal deposit within 48 hours of auction close.
