Vehicle Detail
The Walking Dead season 8 premiere is almost here. Be the talk of the town with this awesome Daryl Dixon tribute/replica bike! New tiresNew plugsFresh oil and filter New batteryNew Progressive type piggyback rear suspension New headlight and taillight New seat Lots more! Bike is fully operational and only has 25k miles from new. The engine starts immediately with a quick push of the start button and runs great. All five gears shift crisply and the clutch is strong. The four "pod" air filters make the bike run a bit lean but it picks up immediately and is perfectly enjoyable as-is. Frankly, there's not much time to ride as people are constantly stopping me to ask questions, take pictures, etc. The intent was more to show the bike off anyway. It rides down the road great with the aggressive tires and new suspension and cruises along just fine. See these videos for more: Cold start and walkaround: https://youtu.be/_vzx516KFmc Engine rev: https://youtu.be/h82Mpn4Bqow Slideshow: https://youtu.be/CwqlivPnN_Q The bike has a functioning headlight and show-accurate stop/taillight. No turn signals were installed so as to not detract from the look. Factory turn signal wiring is still intact and is hidden within the under-seat bags, along with the rest of the harness/electronics/etc. The handlebars are accurate CR-high bend with cross bar and feature new show-correct OURY grips wrapped in hockey tape and "aged" for an authentic look. The correct style mirror is mounted on the left control set, and a hand-made stainless mesh grille and black offset headlight with cage finish the look. The tank was stripped to metal, surface rusted and then cleared to keep the right "patina." Front and rear fenders were hand-made and aged to match. The brat-style seat is new, and the under-seat bags keep the battery and wiring harness out of sight while staying true to the tribute/replica aspect of the bike. The crossbow mount and rack was built using screen accurate garage door opener parts and holds a fully functional 150 lb recurve crossbow equipped with a scope, quiver and bolts, all of which were aged a bit to maintain the theme. Lots of time was spent trying to make the bike look as close as possible without the $25K cost of a genuine Classified Moto creation. Please look over all the pictures and feel free to ask questions. Clear title in hand. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility but I can help arrange it. Bike is located outside Atlanta (of course.). Deposit due immediately and payment in full by bank wire or cash in person must be made within three days.
