Health issues forces the sale of my car collection. This is a cool little car and has always been a favorite just because it was such a good car to me. I bought it nearly 20 years ago with approx, 50K miles from the original owner. I had it repainted in the late 90's because the top decks were faded from the crazy Florida sun. It was born a Florida car and lived there until I trailered it here to be stored away in my facility. The paint wasn't real bad, but I wanted it nice. Since then, the timing belt and water pump and front seals were replaced within the last 1000 or so miles. This was 13 years ago though. It has been stored in my facility since 2005. It is a air conditioned and heated building. Best case scenario for vehicle hibernation. I pulled the car cover off of it and connected the battery and it started right up. It will need a valve cover gasket as it has developed a drip that lands on the exhaust manifold and the battery doesn't hold a charge for more than a few days. I was pleasantly surprised that the A/C still blows ice cold. Amazing. After driving it inside and outside of my building during clean up, I noticed that the odometer has stopped turning. I'm not sure if its just stuck from sitting or if the plastic gear gave up. It is what it is. There is paint cracking on the rubber bumper cover as seen in the photo. It happened while on the open trailer bringing it here from Florida and from the wind pushing up on it from underneath and flexing it.
