1966 Buick Electra 225 2 door hardtop, 401 nailhead, automatic with power steering, brakes and air. This car was originally sold at Carl Simpson Buick in Mountain View California. She still has the California black tags that were on the car when I bought it.The odometer shows 29,521 miles but I think its safe to assume that its 129,521? The fenders, quarters, rockers, trunk floor, front floors and frame are solid. The floor under the rear seat is rusted out from a leak in the rear window. The car ran and drove when I bought it and even blew cold A/C for a short time. I had it in storage for a little bit and when I got it out it drove fine until about a mile from home when it started knocking and locked up. I parked the car with the plan on pulling the motor and eventually restoring the car but never got around to it. A couple months ago I decided I needed to do something with the car and so I found a 1966 425 nailhead engine that I was going to put in the car but realized that was too ambitious of a project for me at this point. I hate seeing it continue to deteriorate and would rather see it go to a good home. This auction is for the car only but I would sell the engine to the winning bidder if they were interested for an additional $700. There is some original paperwork as pictured and there is also two sets of keys, the original with the key number stamped in them and a spare set. The car is located in Burtonsville, Md..
