Up for sale is a survivor, a relatively stock 78 Bronco XLT 4 speed with the stock 351M and 411 gears. The stock 351M has no power, leaks a bit at the rear main, but runs like a top. The Mud Terrains are 33-12.50-15 with excellent tread.The truck has about 145k miles. I am promoting this as a great restoration candidate, with many parts. I have decided not to complete the needed restoration, and am selling as is. This is a 40 year old truck it will take some TLC to bring it back to it glory. The body has a few dings but is still sporting the original paint and almost no rust. Both of the doors have a small rust spot at the corner, but the quarters and the rest of the body is rust free. I have owned the truck for about 3 years, I have done: >Complete brakes, >Front end including a new red head steering gear, >Suspension, new ft leveling springs shocks, >New exhaust manifolds and a 3 inch super single flowmaster system. >New front and rear drive linesI have scrounged many of the items missing under the hood bringing it back to almost original, fixed the rear window and many of the little things you encounter on an almost 40 year old truck.I have the front sway bar [removed], a good dash, a good 400M core with edelbrock intake that go with the truck. feel free to contact me for more information.
