For Sale: 1999 Honda VFR800FI Interceptor. Engine V-4, liquid cooled. 108.5 hp with a top speed of 156.6 mph. Excellent condition with only 13,053 miles and has all the needed upgrades. Fourth generation VFR's were basically bullet proof, but did have some issues with the regulator/rectifier. Although I never had any problems, I upgraded with a VFRness wiring harness and a new Rick's motorsport regulator/recitfier. Other upgrades include Gen Mar 3/4 " risers, Two Brother's exhaust, Lust racing side protectors, rear single seat cowl and mirrors. About 200 miles on oil and coolant change. New battery June 2015 and you can still get all the parts you need from Honda. Also comes with: the original owner's manual, Honda service manual, Haynes service and repair manual, Clymer service, repair and maintenance manual, bike cover, Anderson bike stand, original complete tool kit, extra tools and parts taken off bike which includes rear foot pegs, grab handles, center stand, original mirrors, original operational regulator/recitifier, original exhaust and reflectors. I always used it with a single seat and I think the bike looks better this way. If thinking about having the motorcycle shipped, please think about how you will get all the extra's. The 1999 VFR was Cycle World's modern classic every one should own and recently Motorcyclist had it listed as the VFR to buy. Reason I am selling? I am 68 year old and arthritic hands. Reserve price is definitely below what a VFR in this condition and low miles is worth.
