CAR IS LISTED LOCALLY AS WELL AND HAVE A POTENTIAL BUYER COMING SATURDAY. I purchased this car in need of maintenance and performed the following New center support bearingNew flex discNew front diff bushingNew exhaust donutsAll new bulbs and headlightsNew front tires. This car had a small knock sound occasionally during start up and has progressively gotten worse. I keep it parked in the garage now and don't drive it however is is running and driving. I have decided to let her go to someone who is motivated to figure out what the problem is and fix it. The rod bearings were replaced under warranty at 20k miles so I have a hard time believing it's a rod knock but the car now has 124k so I guess it's possible. I initially thought it was the Vanos system or valves as the noise was intermittent but now I am not certain. The SMG transmission shifts extremely smooth with no issues. The air conditioning will freeze you out of the car. The radio and all lighting functions as they should. The windows function as they should. The convertible top does not work but can still be lowered manually. The interior is decent but shows signs of wear and the driver seat has some damage as seen in photo. The traction control light is on. The engine compartment is complete and very clean. This vehicle has not been modified in any way. The trunk is missing the left inside cover and the battery cover is missing. The wheels have minor wear on them. The plate that goes under the rear bumper is included but needs to be painted as well as the bumper covers need paint. The front passenger fender is dented. This car actually handles awesome and looks really nice but I want the buyer to be aware of everything so there are no surprises. Mechanically aside from the noise in the engine this car is mechanically sound. 6 New Bosch coil packs were installed recently. I have a clean title in the car.
