Vehicle Detail
Putting my latest build up for auction. Bike was built for the amateur Chop off put on by the Horse magazine. Full custom build starting with a one owner 57 Tiger T110 bike. Numbers matching and title in my name. Bike one best custom at British and European bike day. Top 20 pick at Beatersville. Invited builder to the Fuel Cleveland show. Will try and list all that has been done to it but if you have any questions feel free to ask. Just about every part has a custom touch while trying to maintain that vintage look. 1. Factory metal works hardtail 4 inch stretch with 2.5 drop. Replaced the front mounts with all factory lugs to give it a more stock looking hardtail. Front frame loop has some work done to it as well. The swingarm lug has been completely replaced with a rippled piece and rear motor mount. Way cleaner than the factory mount. Custom one off kickstand from Jon at CloseFab. Maund speed equipment rear brake scoop ported into drum. Rear brake lever has been flipped over and reworked for brake rod to run parallel with the ground. Brake stay has been shortened and ribbed. Original mid 30s Velocette girder front end with Norman Hyde M bars that have been shortened in the center and custom ribbed between the clamps. Rechromed after work was done. Amal grips 2. Front and rear wheel are new rims and stainless spokes and nipples from Buchanan. Front spool is a wargasser. Rear brake assy is the original to the bike with a custom aluminum brake plate. All new brake shoes and hardware along with bearings. Tires are Allstate 21 by 2.75 and the rear is a 3.50 by 19. 3. Rear fender was made by Cooper smithing. Fuel tank is a unique tank from a jawa sister company. Tank was purchased from the Czeck republic. Pretty much the same size as a wassell tank but has the cool Art Deco lid and built in toolbox. Tank has been heavily modified. Way cooler than a standard wassell tank that everybody runs. Oil tank is a original factory rigid tank. Headlight is a small old swap meet find. Rear taillight is a pioneer nos light that I had rechromed. Custom aluminum tag bracket. 4. Custom leather work done by Ranger Leather out of Texas. Seat pan is a original fiberglass Ken Maely flat track seat pan. Leather top and bottom but let his initials exposed. Fake leather bag for the back side of the oil tank. Also leather pad inside the gas tank toolbox. His leather work is really high quality. Paint done by Kevin Petitt of Petittbilt customs. 4. engine is a stock motor was told it was rebuilt prior to me getting it. Ran great before torn down for build. Intake is a Tricor dual carb intake with brand new Amal 276s carbs with one being the chopped float bowl. EXACT SETUP OFFERED BY TRICOR IN 1957. Just switched the main jets from 250s to 240s needs some tuning. Webco oil feed, webco pressure release guard. Bates exhaust clamps. New Bob Newby belt drive with ther new lightning hole pressure plate. Fresh rebuilt Lucas magneto. TRANSMISSION has been converted to a 5 speed using a 74 triumph doner engine. Pipes and hollowed mufflers are new emgo. 5. All cloth wiring. brake light switch is on the left handlebar in the clutch lever. 12 volt voltage regulator running a small 12 volt batttery between the trans and engine. Electronics are located inside the stock Lucas regulator case. No petcock on tank due to clearance with engine. 6. What the bike needs. The carbs fine tuned I recently replaced the main jets from 250s to 240s but haven't ran the bike yet also have a set of 230s. Clutch needs some adjustment. Bike fires up and runs good carbs spitting fuel with the 250s in it and around 50 feels like it's starving for fuel. I replaced the small fuel line from carb to motor and replaced jets. May have taken care of the issue. $500.00 NON RFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE AT END OF THE AUCTION. REMAINING BALANCE TO BE PAID IN FULL WITH CASHIERS CHECK. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING LOCAL PICKUP WELCOME. WILL CRATE FOR OVERSEAS BIDDER FOR ADDITIONAL COST. BUT YOUR RESPONSIBLE FOR SHPPING. BIKE IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH NO WARRANTY
