First, I am a friend of the older gentleman that owns this beautiful Mercedes 560 SL and I am assisting him in the sale of this automobile. It should be noted that this gentleman is very particular in how he takes care of his automobiles. Now for some particulars The signal red paint is extremely nice with a deep brilliant shine, the body is very straight with no dents or dings. Also, there is no rust as this Mercedes has not been out in any inclement weather. The parchment interior is also extremely nice and very clean. The dash and door panels are like new as are all the wood areas. The beautiful chrome wheels are mounted on like new Michelin tires and the wheels have no curb rash. All weatherstripping is in very good condition. The undercarriage is exceptionally clean and also dictates this 560 SL has not been exposed to inclement weather. The convertible top was replaced a couple of years ago and was professionally done and looks excellent. The fit is perfect and the plastic rear windows are perfectly clean with no dis-color. The red hardtop is in excellent condition. Overall, the appearance of this 1988 Mercedes 560 SL is in beautiful condition and shows very nice. All original Mercedes books from 1988 are all intact and are in like new condition. The drive train consist of the powerful Mercedes V8 engine complimented with the smooth shifting automatic transmission, both perform flawlessly with no strange noises and also no oil leaks of any kind. Recent servicing has been performed and also the air conditioning system has been serviced with a new compressor installed, air conditioning works perfect and very cold.
