NO RESERVE! This is a FACTORY STOCK MR2 with all matching #'s on panels with original engine, trans, etc. I gave this to my wife for her 45th Birthday years ago. ADULT owned and fair weather driven! Carport and garage kept! Properly maintained and serviced. EVERYTHING works including all lights, gauges, motors, pumps, switches, levers, cables, antenna motor, headlight motors, etc. EXCEPT cd & cassette functions (on original full feature radio that works fine - good original speakers). NO check engine lights or other fails. Passed full and detailed inspection in July. All body joints fit perfectly and latches work smoothly. NO cracks in dash or steering wheel, panels perfect, carpets excellent. interior dials, painted numbers, etc. all great looking, etc. Power windows, locks, mirrors, AC, cruise control, etc all working. Body has been repainted original red and clear coated prior to my buying it 7 years ago - see pics. NO leaks - all weather stripping and rubber is excellent. Mechanically very good. This is a non-turbo automatic with OD/sport button. Engine is strong and reliable, does not smoke, ping, run hot, or anything like that. Shifts normal, rides straight and tight, etc. no exhaust leaks. Tires about 2 years old and have less than 10k on them. Battery is less than a year old. Regular maintenance with oils, filters, fluids, etc. During professional mechanics inspection in July we found emergency brake cables seized from lack of use so I had the shop put 2 brand new ones on since someone might consider that a safety issue. I purchased an EXTRA engine control module (car's ECM computer) a few years ago because they are getting hard to find ($350ish if I recall correctly) and is included in the sale. Original manual, spare, tools in Toyota bag, jack, and so on. Moon roof stores in special factory holder under front hood. Items I know of: 2 smallish paint chips on drivers side of rear bumper (no ding or crack - see pic), short fabric tear in drivers side bolster of fabric seat (can be sewn back together with some backing material to reinforce - see pic), 2 very small dings - no paint chipped (one on edge area of each rear wheel well where some Idiot opened a door on it - not sure it even shows up in photos but zoom in on drivers side rear wheel well to see the worst one ). Ash tray lid has cracks but not broken (apparently common). Wiper arms have a spot of surface rust (see pic) so could be touched up or replaced (actually to be accurate I think wiper arms are no longer original factory). There has always been a short line crack in the corner of the moon roof - no leak and not visible from inside or other issue (most won't notice it unless looking for it). There are two small rust spots about size of the palm of hand in the rocker arms where black undercoating paint is bubbled out - common and a minor fix. The rest of the body is rust free! This car is priced well below market rate to reflect these minor items and because I want it sold so I can buy a needed work truck. The buy it now price is also very fair for the condition if you don't want to loose out. I am listing it on Craig's list and locally so will pull ad if it sells locally. This is a 26 1/2 year old classic collectors sports car so it is not perfect - but it is very good condition and you know if you continue to maintain it, it's increasing in value every year. Toyota dealership nearby is familiar with the car and will go over it with you but you pay their inspection fee. Happy to answer questions and send specific pics on request.
