THIS VEHICLE COMES WITH A WARRANTY I have been an auto mechanic and restorer for 40 years so I know cars inside and out and am also well aware of the huge risk and fear of buying a car without driving it, therefore, I am going to offer a 7 day or 500 mile warranty on the engine and transmission. This will be in writing and provided at the time of the sale. It will warranty the engine, transmission, alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and the differential. If any of these items fail during that time I will either repair them or pay for the repairs if you are not local or will refund the entire sale price of the car as my option. I have received xlnt comments from others whom have bought cars from me and most of the cars I listed have sold prior to the auctions scheduled end date to buyers that used the "Buy It Now" feature. I am mostly selling off a large collection of cars we have had for years and some of our relatives cars that don't have an Ebay account, however, I am a mechanic and professional vintage Muscle car restorer and some of the cars I built sold for world record prices at Barrett Jackson and other venues so I know cars extremely well. SHIPPING If you live out of state and need it shipped I can help with that. GENERAL DESCRIPTION It is in xlnt condition in and out and runs and drives like brand new. The air conditioning blows ice cold on 100 degree days. The engine never runs hot. It does not smell like an old used ash tray or an air freshener or old spice after shave inside. It is an original Southern California vehicle that has been well cared for and garaged when not being driven and has never been stored near the ocean or driven on salted roads etc, which partially accounts for the extremely nice condition it is in. It has the original title and has never been transferred and it is NOT salvaged. It also has a clean Carfax/Autocheck report which I can email to anyone that is interested in seeing it. PHOTOS Please look at the photos closely and compare them to any other car you might be interested in. Unlike many other peoples photos, all the photos I take are high resolution so you can see more detail and have a better idea of the true condition of the vehicle be it bad or good. I also take photos of areas that most others don't take including close up engine photos. OPTIONS It is loaded with the usual power options including air conditioning, power windows, power door locks. ABS power brakes, and cruise control and they all work properly. It also has a factory AM/FM CD & Cassette player. I also have the complete build sheet which I obtained from a local Ford dealer and posted photos of. SERVICE HISTORY It has always been inspected and serviced as per the Ford service guide. EMISSIONS TEST It just easily passed the stringent California emissions test. SAFETY WARNING LIGHTS There are no lights on. ENGINE COMPARTMENT There are no leaks and the entire engine compartment looks nearly like it just rolled off the showroom floor. INTERIOR It is very clean with just a couple minimal signs of wear. The seats are a beautiful medium gray tweed cloth. There are no dirt spots on any of the cloth but there is a small wear mark on the seat back on the drivers seat and the right side of the passenger seat. The drivers seat foam is still like new and not mashed down from having a 300 lb person in it. There has rarely been anyone in the rear seats so they basically look brand new. The headliner looks like new. The dash and door panels are very nice and are not faded or scratched up. The steering wheel is like new with no wear and is not dried out from being exposed to the sun. It has brand new original factory carpeted floor mats from Ford. It does not smell like an ash tray or cheap aftershave or a cheap "Air Freshener". BODY There is a small 2" diameter dent on the tail gate and a small one in the right wheel opening. There is zero rust and it has never been driven on salted roads or stored near the ocean where the salt air could corrode it. There are no waves or ripples in sides of the body and I posted side angle photos to show how straight it is. PAINT All the paint is original and it has an excellent shine and there is zero peeling, lifting, or heavy fading. There are only a couple very small scratches/chips but nothing big enough to detract from the general appearance as you can see in the photos. The door jambs are very clean as can be seen in the photos. Overall, the paint is in extremely nice condition. TIRES They have around 65% tread remaining left with no uneven wear. BRAKES The rotors are smooth with no heavy scoring. It stops straight when braking with no hands on the steering wheel. TRANSMISSION It shifts just like it did when it was brand new. ENGINE Runs like new with no smoke at start up or at idle and it never runs hot even on 100 degree days with the air conditioning on. SUSPENSION There are no squeaks or rattles or klunks when going over bumps or pot holes. STEERING There is absolutely zero freeplay or looseness in the steering whatsoever. CV JOINTS These are typical wear items on the front of all vehicles that use them. The right one had a little wear so I just replaced it. I inspected the left one and it is fine.
