THIS CAR COMES WITH A WARRANTY I have been an auto mechanic and restorer for 40 years so I know cars inside and out and am also well aware of the huge risk and fear of buying a car without driving it, therefore, I am going to offer a 7 day or 500 mile warranty on the engine and transmission. This will be in writing and provided at the time of the sale. It will warranty the engine, transmission, alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and the differential. If any of these items fail during that time I will either repair them or pay for the repairs if you are not local or will refund the entire sale price of the car as my option. I priced it well below what others are asking and below what other similar ones have sold for. I also have it advertised locally in another ad so it may sell from that ad before the auction ends. I have received xlnt comments from others whom have bought cars from me and most of the cars I listed have sold prior to the auctions scheduled end date to buyers that used the "Buy It Now" feature. I am not a dealer . I am merely selling off a large collection of cars we have had for years and some of our relatives cars that don't have an Ebay account, however, I am a mechanic and professional vintage Muscle car restorer and some of the cars I built sold for world record prices at Barrett Jackson and other venues so I know cars extremely well. SHIPPING If you live out of state and need it shipped I can help with that. GENERAL DESCRIPTION It is in nearly mint condition in and out and runs and drives like brand new. The air conditioning blows ice cold on 100 degree days. The engine never runs hot. It does not smell like an old used ash tray or an air freshener or old spice after shave inside. It is an original Southern California vehicle that has been well cared for and garaged when not being driven and has never been stored near the ocean or driven on salted roads etc, which partially accounts for the extremely nice condition it is in. It has the original title and has never been transferred and it is NOT salvaged. It also has a clean Carfax/Autocheck report which I can email to anyone that is interested in seeing it. PHOTOS Please look at the photos closely and compare them to any other car you might be interested in. Unlike many other peoples photos, all the photos I take are high resolution so you can see more detail and have a better idea of the true condition of the vehicle be it bad or good. I also take photos of areas that most others don't take including close up engine photos. OPTIONS It is loaded with the usual power options including air conditioning, power windows, power door locks and cruise control. It also has a factory AM/FM CD player and they all work properly. I also have the complete build sheet which I obtained from a local Ford dealer and posted photos of. FUEL ECONOMY Contrary to what you may have heard, the Crown Victorias with the Police Interceptor upgrade get slightly BETTER mileage than the ones without it if both vehicles are driven the same way. This is due to the dual exhaust and high flow air box and special ignition timing. SERVICE HISTORY It has always been inspected and serviced as per the Ford service guide. MANUALS It has all the original manuals and safety cards. EMISSIONS TEST It just easily passed the stringent California emissions test. SAFETY WARNING LIGHTS There are no lights on. ENGINE COMPARTMENT There are no leaks and the entire engine compartment looks nearly like it just rolled off the showroom floor. INTERIOR It is in xlnt condition for a 12 year old used vehicle. The seats are a very nice tan colored cloth. There are no holes the drivers seat foam is xlnt and not mashed down from having a 300 lb person in it. There has rarely been anyone in any of the passenger seats so they are xlnt. There are a couple very small and very light marks which are hard to see which may easily clean off although I have not tried yet because they are not bad enough to bother me. The headliner looks like new. The dash and door panels are very nice and are not faded or scratched up. The steering wheel is xlnt and is not dried out on the top from being exposed to the sun. It has brand new original factory carpeted floor mats from Ford. It does not smell like an ash tray or cheap aftershave or a cheap "Air Freshener". BODY There are 1 or 2 tiny thumb sized dings on it which are barely noticeable which probably won't even show up in a close up photo. There is zero rust and it has never been driven on salted roads or stored near the ocean where the salt air could corrode it. There are no waves or ripples in sides of the body and I posted side angle photos o show how straight it is. The undercarriage is also very clean and not caked up with mud or oil or road grime etc and there isn't even any surface rust on the bottom side. PAINT All the paint is original and it has an excellent shine and there is zero peeling, lifting, or heavy fading. There are only a couple very small scratches/chips but nothing big enough to detract from the general appearance as you can see in the photos. The door jambs are very clean as can be seen in the photos. Overall, the paint is in beautiful condition. TIRES They have around 65% tread remaining left with no uneven wear.
